Spending time in the Kingdom of Brunei Darusallam isn't that bad, really. They have good prices on tools and such, but their computer hardware and software is about a year behind. Some good deals, though. Plus, you really have to love countries where copyright laws do not apply. You wouldn't BELIEVE the quality of some of the bootleg DVDs. And all the software WORKS. We even have a few guys that got their hands on the beta build of Windows Longhorn (for those who are NOT techno-dweeb-geeks like myself, that's going to be the next Windows operating system).
HOWEVER.
Spending the weekend of the 20th anniversary of the silver star outlaws in a country where complete and total prohibition is the rule of law, SUCKS.
*sigh* I was so hoping to make it to Korea for that...
